Taiwan
All my likes and dislikes of the City .
I like the Night Markets.
So cool man ! So many shops, things selling at low prices and most of all !!!
You can easily bargain off 50-100 dollars there ! I had my first bargain there, (check- i've never hagged the price down before.) It's a gold hairband. (FYI: the ratio is 1:20 for sing$: NT$)
The hairband cost 250, i was like "Aunty, cheaper abit can ?"
Aunty : *considering awhile. Cannot la
Me : Can want la, i from Singapore all the way buy ur hairband lea, * Flashes killer smile
Aunty : Okay la okay la. Give u 180 !
I was absolutely delighted ! Never had i bargained before, too thin skinned , u know.
After that lucky experience, i never purchase anything before attempting bargain.

Crowded streets of Xi Men Ding.
The shops there are like fast foward in fashion. It's those clothes and accesories that u'll see in future in our bugis street and Far East plaza but it's not available in Singapore yet.
Bought
So anyway the shops also sells stuffs like chanel and dior and Miss sixty, and stuff. Duh~ fake. But real fake, by this i'm saying they are so real ! Man ~ The Dior earring retails at a price of like 250 and is so fanciful and bright it's blinding my precious eyes.
Interesting arrays of small boutiques there too, in bright hues and psycedelic colours.
Authorised shops selling Nike, Adidas eg sneakers there. (Not fakes okay !)
Tell you I bet Anas would die for a pair of Adidas sneakers there it cost like 3000+ .
Its in hot pink silk with hotter pink leather as lining and bright white logo that stands out from it's shocking pink background. I was blinking at it man.
Boutiques selling brands like DKNY, Levis, JOJO, CK also dotted the streets.
Actually its not really like night markets in Singapore la.
It's like lots of streets linked together. With colourful shops of different size lining both sides of it.
In a main Night Market street, there may be a few small narrower streets leading out of it selling stuffs too.
Then in the more middle part of the streets, out abit from the shops, may be some push carts stores selling food or apparel and table stores. (Jus a table and the stuffs on sale on it)

Nice shot rite ? Sin jiao Jiang night market.
The fashion culture there is actually very like Japan. "Coz Japan once dominated Taipei for 50+ years, so their culture is still visible in here." the tourguide explained.
And he also explained that some of the older generations there speaks Japanese coz Japanese was the only language learned during that 50 years of domination.
i like the view out of my window in the aeroplane

Hee never travelled by plane for a very very long time already.

Looks so good rite ?
It tastes like blah ~! Yucky plane food that looks good but tastes sucky.
Was reading Girlfriend magazine in the plane. Bought it in the international books and magazines shop in the airport. after u check in there's ALOT of shops selling different stuffs without TAX. So it's a whole lot cheaper. I bought the mag like 6 dollars. (:
Those shops are named "Duty-free shops", so i bought a Clinique Glow-Crazy loose powder and a sunblock of the same brand at like 60% the prize !
Mum then bought a Dior perfume too.
I like the fruits there !

OMG one very fat and one very thin bananas ! HAHA
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Any ideas what's so special about these fruits ?
I bet u wouldnt even dream of it !
The first banana is a mix breed of apple and banana.
Tastes slightly of sweet scented apple.
The second banana, well, it's just thin.
It tastes sweet and smelled strongly of banana.
The tomato ! Ta-da ~!
It is grown using......
Pure spring water ! Filled with minerals !
It tasted extremely juicy and cruncy. sullentciously sweet.
There's also this mango grown using milk that tasted milky. Nice !
Nevertheless, my favourite is the Jumbu. I often eat it in Spore but in Taiwan it's more refreshingly sweet and crunchy ! And i heard it's not the exact season, in August, it'll be even sweeter and will grow to be blackish red, unlike the reddish green commonly found in spore.
It cost S$50 for one then.
Btw, they grow it using salt water for the sweetness to blossom out.
They love using queer things to grow fruits , rite ?
I LOVE FRUITS !
I like the beautiful scenery.

Lots and lots of rice fields !
I heard the rice there are so valuable the retail at like 900 plus Sing dollars for 1 "jin" of it. One jin abit only !
The rice are called pearl rice. I got to eat it in a restaurant during those provided meals!
Each rice tasted full and whole. It's chewy and fragrant !

I like *gasps* the toilet flusher !
It's so convenient ! To flush !
In Singapore, we flush using our hands, there, it's using ur foot ! Just step hard on it and it's done !

I like the watson there

But the Watson there has really fab brands !
I bought this really nice creme blush titled "Flesh & blood" that i saw in lots of Japanese magazine.
It's unavaliable in Singapore!
The brand is Majolica Majorca. It's so vintage and fanciful !

ROCKS!
Favourite meal !!!
It's this mongolian bbq meal!
Step one : u take a bowl.
Step 2: U put some slices of meat in the bowl.
(Pork, mutton,beef,chicken eg...)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Step 3:Put veggie of ur choice.
(tomato, spinach, onion,leek .eg...)
In this case i put a few slices of meat only and like to pile my bowl up with lots of onion, leek, spring onion and bean sprout ! Yummy !
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Step 4 : Fun time !
U get to drizzle a scoop of each sauce in your bowl !
And there's ALOT of sauces.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
There, i did not lie, did i ? (:
(bbq sauce, soya sauce, garlic oil, ginger, water, sugared water, lime water, sesame oil and more ! I cant remember.)
Step 5 : U pass the bowl of selected ingredient to chef and he cooks it in front of u on a special stone ! He fries it using a special long chop stick and is skillfully always using the chopstick to prevent the sauce from going over the stone till the meat's cooked.
