Embolden's Gig @ Gas Haus
Whoa. Went to Embolden's gig at Gas Haus on Saturday.
Consisted of Arif, Aaron, Xavier, Nick yeo/bizi and this unknown guy.
Miss Lu, Justin, Jarred, Nick, Martin, Cecilia, Melvin and a big bunch of people whose name i didnt know was there.
.......
We went to the gates of Gas Haus and was like damn shocked at the amount of emo-dressed people there. I mean seriously, maybe around 50 people? In black tapered jeans, black tees, studded belts and black haversack, if you know what i mean.
So we were shocked and we stayed by with 2 malay girls we just got to know.
I almost wore my suspenders, which i deeply regret not wearing, but there's was not enough time to think up what will go with suspenders.
We waited for the rest of them before proceeding in and security was really tight.
They checked all our bags and this caucasian guy likes my blue contacts!
He said to me:Are your eyes real?
Me:Hmm, no.
Guy:If they are, marry me.
I was like laughing haha.
It was like packed so Anas Ayu, the 2 new malay friends and me went to occupy some sofas. To my horror, the 2 new malay girls started to sniff glue, like in spray form.
They took this bottled deoderant-like thing out of their bags and sprayed it on their sweater then sniffed it hungrily. Anas initially thought it was deoderant and they sprayed it so their sweater wont stink. But it soon beacame apparent as they got on a high and started giggling uncontrollably. *shudders* It was kinda scary to see people wasted like that.
The band played and Embolden did great! It was so cool to see them on stage :)
Way better then the new assignments.
After them some band played and everyone started moshing.
Dont worry, i just learnt the new term that day too. It's like people get so high on the beats of the music that they start shoving each other and it can get quite violent.
I felt kinda outta place, haha.
The moshing is like... hmm, how to describe?
Ahh! Like molecules, you know like physics, bouncing and hitting into each other randomly and continously. Smth like that. :)
I still thinks it looks fun though, looks like those wrestling matches i used to play on stacked mattresses with my childhood friends when we were little.
Anyway , it was an eye-opener for me. Didnt like the smoking though. I mean, not me but everyone else.
...................
Anyway, i just realised something while giving out flyers(CIP la, not my job._.) the other day.
There is like an average of 200 apartments in a block.
And maybe an average of like 3 people in a unit.
A little mental calculation and ta-da! There are about 600 people staying right here in your block with you. How many of them do you see everyday? How many of them do you actually acknowledge when you see them?
I just realised that i know maybe like about 20 of them only. 20 out of 600.
Pathetic.
Haha, it's like irrelevent , just random musing to keep my stagnant brain going. *signs.
And i failed my humanities! 6/13.
SHITEASS.
And my physics, 14/20, i deproved. Not even 75%. Somehow, my own standard has gone up unknowingly, i'm actually displeased with a 14 !
And and and i've got a very strong and unpleasant feeling that i'm one of those who failed the chem test. GAHHH.
Fuckamatha. I just cant bring myself to study, it's like there's no urge you know...
Just today i kept talking and talking to JX in eng class and Ms Ng was like damn pissed off and she said "Sandy, what must i do to make you listen? Since you think this is too low a standard for you, tell me what must i do. Dont think that just because your the highest in eng you can be complacent blahblah....".
Yeah that's the exact words, it's not that i dont want to listen but you know what are we learning now? Verbs, adjectives, adverbs and how to form sentences using them.
It's like i dont know what the fuck is all that and i dont fucking care BECAUSE i think i can form sentences jolly well without knowing what they are. Everyone's the same, you dont form sentences planing, oh i gotta use an adverb here, shit! my sentence is short of an adjective, it just comes to you naturally.
right? right?!
I can believe i blogged from giving flyers to Ms Ng.
Yeah, lovely pictures, here you go, Edna :)

Above-people moshing. AHH, ready and CHARGE!

People crowding around the stage in anticipation.
